About the Company

Region Stockholm has the overall responsibility to ensure that everyone living in or visiting the region has access to a well-developed, easily accessible, and reliable public transport system. The mission of the Traffic Administration (TF) is to prepare and implement decisions regarding the direction and scope for a long-term sustainable public transport system. Additionally, we are responsible for the management and monitoring of traffic operations as well as maintaining the functionality, safety, and value of the infrastructure. Every day, more than 700,000 people travel using public transport, including the subway, buses, commuter trains, and local trains.

About the Assignment

The RISTA project aims to implement a new architecture for SCADA systems at the Traffic Administration. The project includes reviewing future needs that support this. The project is part of the Access Systems & Operations Management section, which works with asset management and SCADA systems monitored by our Operations Management.

The assignment involves taking responsibility as a technical project manager/sub-project manager for designated parts of the project. Additionally, participation in the project includes performing all types of tasks where the consultant's technical expertise and industry experience contribute to success and progress.

Competence Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the role of technical project manager or sub-project manager within the last seven years.
• In the last five years, at least 3 years of relevant experience in vendor management during the implementation of larger operations, support, and maintenance agreements delivered by an external party. This includes verifying requirements, compiling and documenting tests, coordinating internal resources, and responding to external vendor commitments.
• At least 3 years of post-secondary education in computer science, IT, or related fields.
• Documented experience in conducting assignments for the public sector in at least one (1) project/assignment with a duration of at least one (1) year. The project/assignment must have been completed within the last five years.
• In the last 7 years, at least 5 years of experience working with large-scale SCADA systems and underlying infrastructure.

Value-Added Requirements

• Experience in project management for migration projects in SCADA/OT environments. From at least 2 different assignments where each assignment involved more than 100,000 signals.
• Deep experience working with the SCADA system iFix.
• Experience in change management in critical production environments. At least 2 assignments.
• Documented experience in implementing standardized data models (Companion Specifications) in SCADA systems.
• Documented experience working with the OPC-UA standard in at least two projects.
